Position Overview:
Tact Staff is seeking a travel nurse RN for the Emergency Department (ED) to provide exceptional care in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities:
The travel nurse will report directly to the on-duty Nursing Supervisor and will be responsible for:
  • Assessing and managing a variety of medical conditions and emergencies.
  • Providing timely and effective care during acute situations.
  • Collaborating with the emergency room team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Documenting patient assessments and interventions accurately.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Qualifications:
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
  • Current California RN licensure in good standing.
  • Minimum of one year of experience in an Emergency Department setting preferred.
  • ACLS, PALS, and CPR certifications required; NRP and TNCC to be obtained within one year of hire.

  • Demonstrated professional behavior and ability to work collaboratively.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize patient care based on immediate needs.
  • Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and dignity.

Work Environment:
The position requires flexibility to work beyond standard hours and adapt to various roles as needed. The nurse must be able to function independently and effectively within a team.

Physical Requirements:
The role involves sitting, standing, bending, lifting, and moving throughout the shift, with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
