At Argus Technical Services, we are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring conformance to AS9110 requirements and standards under the direction of the Director of Quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in maintaining the Quality Manuals and all associated documents.
  • Work alongside the Director of Quality with the Internal Audit and Corrective Action programs for quality systems.
  • Help train personnel on quality standards and requirements.
  • Support the Director of Quality with customer returns and vendor claims.
  • Work with receiving and shipping inspection and quality control functions as needed.
  • Identify discrepant parts, generate non-conformance reports, and initiate corrective actions as required by the Director of Quality.
  • Assist the Director of Quality with Vendor Quality Surveys/Audits for vendor approval.
  • Maintain approved vendor list and quality history under the direction of the Director of Quality.
  • Help ensure required publications are kept current.
  • Monitor shelf life and life limited products to help ensure they are properly documented and stored.
  • Monitor scrap program and ensure scrap documentation is properly maintained.
  • Maintain company records as required by the quality and export compliance systems under the direction of the Director of Quality.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree and/or 5-7 years of related experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Proficient in aircraft drawings and technical data.
  • Experience with ISO 9001:2015 preferred.

Training:
  • Pentagon basics.
  • AS9110.
  • ESD handling.
  • Suspected unapproved parts (SUPs).
  • Receiving and shipping inspections.
  • Foreign Object Damaged.
