Responsibilities
Ensure the establishment, implementation, and maintenance of quality systems in accordance with the International Standard, TS 16949 specification.
Coordinate customer quality audits of our quality systems, ensuring compliance with ISO and TS 16949 as appropriate.
Identify annual quality-related training programs and establish procedures for their implementation.
Monitor quality performance in accordance with established procedures and identify, evaluate, and coordinate the implementation of improvements in products and processes.
Ensure quality data is accumulated, evaluated for necessary actions, and communicated to the appropriate personnel.
Participate in supplier quality audits, ensuring compliance with ISO and TS 16949 as appropriate.
Coordinate internal quality audits and assist management in corrective action implementation.
Assist in the development and distribution of control plans, ensuring that purchased products conform to specifications and maintain records of supplier performance as appropriate.
Establish and maintain procedures to ensure purchased products conform to specifications and maintain records of supplier performance as appropriate.
Provide data for updated lists of approved suppliers and establish incoming material inspection procedures.
Establish and maintain procedures for product traceability, administer the compliance of PPAP requirements, and establish procedures for monitoring and control of special processes.
Ensure procedures for inspection and testing activities are established and documented, and develop and maintain procedures for non-conforming product and tracking progress to establish improvement plans for non-conforming products.
Communicate corrective action plans to customers and establish and maintain procedures for control of quality records.
Perform all other assignments as directed. Experience
Minimum of 5 years field experience, including statistical process control and TS 16949.
Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience.
Working knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning, PPAP, MSA, and FMEA.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook), Internet, etc. Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent quality experience. Benefits
