About the Role:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with senior management to establish goals and policies for facilities operations
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective facilities management
  • Oversee the management of facilities planning, design, construction, renovation, repair, and maintenance
  • Manage the procurement of facilities services and equipment
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs
  • Provide leadership and guidance to staff to ensure that facilities operations are carried out in a safe and efficient manner

Requirements:

  • 8 years of full-time experience in construction, repair, alteration, and/or rehabilitation of multiple dwellings, commercial, industrial, or public buildings
  • At least 18 months of experience in a supervisory or administrative capacity involving responsibility for a large number of buildings
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate when appropriate
  • Ability to read blueprints and working diagrams
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in facilities management or a related field
  • Knowledge of building codes and regulations
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
