About the Role

We are seeking a Youth Care Specialist to join our team, working directly with a group of 7-10 youth. The successful candidate will supervise activities, provide a safe and secure environment, and promote personal growth and development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise the activities of a group of youths, maintaining knowledge of their whereabouts.
  • Provide a safe, secure environment for the assigned group of youths.
  • Represent each youth's problems, needs, and accomplishments to the treatment team or provide progress reports.
  • Call and/or conduct huddle-ups, problem-solving group meetings, and daily reviews with the assigned group of youths.
  • Document daily shift occurrences and frequent population counts as required by local and corporate policy.

Requirements

  • Two years of college coursework in a social or human service field preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • TWO YEARS WORK EXPERIENCE WORKING WITH YOUTH PREFERRED.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this role is estimated at $34,720 - $39,440 per year, based on an annual salary range of $17.00 - $19.00 per hour. A comprehensive benefits package includes health, dental, vision insurance, and a 401k that's top 3% in the country. Paid Time Off and 7 Paid Holidays (for full-time employees) are also included.
