Job Summary

As a Sales Executive at Marriott International Inc, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and achieving top-line goals for our represented hotels. Your primary focus will be on proactively soliciting business from various segments, including new business from small business accounts, sourcing new accounts, identifying new targets, and re-soliciting past business leads. You will work closely with our Leadership team to ensure competitive sales strategies are in place and stay up-to-date with market trends.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage sales activities to drive revenue growth and achieve hotel goals
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through proactive lead generation
  • Collaborate with our Leadership team to develop and implement sales strategies
  • Provide property support by coordinating internal mining efforts and executing property-specific business plans
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including hotel General Managers and Sales Leaders
  • Stay up-to-date with market trends and competitor activity to inform sales strategies
  • Utilize internal lead referral tools and leverage business intelligence to generate leads
  • Ensure effective funnel management and timely lead turnover to other sales channels
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; 2 years of experience in sales and marketing, guest services, or related field preferred
  • 2-year degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field; no work experience required
  • Preferred: 4-year college degree; previous experience in proactive lead generation in hospitality and sales discipline
What We Offer

Marriott International Inc offers a competitive salary range of $58,000 to $73,000 annually, a bonus program, comprehensive health care benefits, 401(k) plan with up to 5% company match, and other benefits and incentives.
