Renesas Electronics is a leading global provider of microcontrollers and semiconductor solutions. We are seeking a highly skilled Foundry Yield Optimization Specialist to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive foundry defect density reduction and improve yield through data analysis and process optimization.
  • Analyze gaps between defect-driven yield and actual ATPG yield to identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with foundry process, PE/TE, and foundry technical manager to design and implement yield improvement initiatives.
  • Work with foundry on WAT and inline monitoring to ensure optimal process control.
  • Drive foundry yield and gross margin improvement through data-driven decision making.
  • Support foundry excursion and RMA data analytics, and work with foundry managers and QA for hold lot disposition.
  • Support foundry/fab transfer safe launch data analytics and conduct D0 yield calculation for new projects.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of yield analysis, experiments, and corrective actions for future reference and continuous improvement.
  • Drive PDF data integrity and loading for foundry projects, and provide PDF Exensio consultations for product/test teams.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent experience in IC manufacturing and development.
  • 1-3 years' experience in semiconductor fabrication processes and technologies.
  • Proficiency in statistical analysis tools and techniques in PDF Exensio Yield tool.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Deep data analytical and statistical skills.
