Job Summary
Renesas Electronics is seeking a Senior Test Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our semiconductor development team, you will be responsible for designing and developing automated test systems for our innovative products. Your expertise in analog and digital systems will enable you to work closely with our engineering team to find novel test solutions and ensure high-quality standards are met.

Key Responsibilities

* Design and develop automated test systems for semiconductor products
* Collaborate with engineering teams to identify and resolve test development challenges
* Ensure test systems meet Renesas' high-quality standards
* Work with applications teams to shape device datasheets through characterization and product evaluation
* Identify areas to maximize efficiency, yield, and test cost reduction

Requirements

* Bachelor's degree or greater in Electrical/Computer Engineering or Computer Science
* 3+ to 5+ years of experience working with Automated Test Systems (ATE); Microflex & Advantest 93K preferred
* 5+ years of hands-on experience in ATE test development for analog, digital, and mixed-signal
* Experience in programming languages such as C++, basic, Perl, Python, etc.
* Experience in testing and collecting data on IC chips or circuits using standard tools such as Oscilloscopes, Multimeters, Spectrum Analyzers, etc.
* Proficient with ATE analog digital instruments, PCB layout parasitic reduction, and strong debug/troubleshooting experience
* Hands-on experience in debugging analog products with serial bus interfaces
* Experience with test hardware and test program development
* Travel 0-10%
