Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maritime Security Officer to join our team at MARTINEZ AND COMPANY, INC.. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our clients' assets and personnel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide security services to our clients in the maritime industry
  • Conduct security patrols and inspections to identify potential security threats
  • Respond to security incidents and take appropriate action to mitigate risks
  • Collaborate with local and federal law enforcement agencies to ensure compliance with security regulations
  • Participate in training and professional development to stay up-to-date on the latest security protocols and procedures
Requirements
  • Must possess a valid Florida Class D license and a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (T.W.I.C.)
  • Have a minimum of one year of experience in security or a related field
  • Be able to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record
  • Be able to pass a background investigation and a drug test
Preferred Qualifications
  • Working knowledge of maritime security enforcement guidelines, including MTSA and Hillsborough County regulations
  • CPR and First Aid certifications
  • Prior military or law enforcement experience
