Job Title: Unarmed Maritime Security Officer

At Martinez and Company, we are seeking highly trained and dedicated professionals to join our Critical Infrastructure Security Team as Unarmed Maritime Security Officers.

Job Summary:

We are looking for individuals with a strong background in security and a passion for protecting our nation's critical infrastructure. As an Unarmed Maritime Security Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our clients' assets and personnel.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide security services to our clients' maritime facilities and vessels
  • Conduct regular patrols and inspections to identify and mitigate potential security threats
  • Respond to security incidents and emergencies in a professional and effective manner
  • Collaborate with local and federal law enforcement agencies to ensure a safe and secure environment
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date on the latest security protocols and procedures
Requirements:
  • Valid Florida Class D license
  • Transportation Worker Identification Credential (T.W.I.C.)
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Minimum one year of security or supervisory experience
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Reliable transportation and a smartphone with internet access
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in MS Word and Adobe PDF
  • Strong English communication skills, including reading and writing
  • Ability to pass a background investigation and drug test
Preferred Skills:
  • Working knowledge of maritime security enforcement guidelines
  • CPR and First Aid certifications
  • Prior military or law enforcement experience
