Job Summary

UMass Memorial Health is seeking a skilled Clinical Dietitian to join our team. As a Clinical Dietitian, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and developing personalized nutrition plans.


Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct nutritional assessments and develop care plans for patients in assigned units and clinics.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver effective patient care and make recommendations for modified diets and nutrition support.
  • Formulate and document nutrition care plans using laboratory and anthropometric data, medical diagnosis, and clinical condition.
  • Write Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) orders in accordance with UMass Memorial Health Center-Wide Policy 2524.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree from an Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (AND) approved four-year program in Food and Nutrition or a related field.
  • Current registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and a Massachusetts state license (LDN) for outpatient dietitian positions upon hire.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence the quality of patient care in an advisory capacity.
