Job Summary

The Innovation Foundation at Oklahoma State University is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Grants Management Specialist to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our grants management lifecycle, you will be responsible for coordinating award and post-award functions, ensuring compliance with grant regulations, and providing exceptional support to researchers and faculty members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate award and post-award functions, including fiscal management of budgets and ensuring compliance with grant regulations.
  • Act as a liaison between internal and external project stakeholders and funding agencies, providing support in various activities related to implementation.
  • Manage grant budgets, track expenditures, and conduct financial reconciliations to ensure responsible fiscal management.
  • Generate reports related to grant financials, progress, and compliance, and maintain accurate records.
  • Provide guidance, training, and support to stakeholders on grant-related matters, including subawards, contracts, and agreements.
  • Familiarize yourself with OSU institutional policies and procedures, and stay up-to-date with evolving grant-related policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Five years of related work experience, with a demonstrated track record of working in grants management.
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and institutional regulations pertaining to grants and sponsored research.
  • Experience managing grant budgets, tracking expenditures, and conducting financial reconciliations.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with researchers, funding agencies, and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple grants concurrently and meet deadlines.
