Key Responsibilities- Establish and Implement Quality Metrics: Develop and implement metrics for monitoring production effectiveness and enable managers to make sound product quality decisions.
- Statistical Data Analysis: Establish collection and analysis systems of statistical data to predict trends that will affect improvement of product quality.
- Root-Cause Analysis: Perform root-cause analysis to identify effective corrective actions internal as well as vendor (SCAR) and initiate process improvements.
- Process Certification: Develop process certification standards and assist in process certification on the floor.
- Quality Improvement: Initiate and implement quality improvement activities as appropriate (continuous improvement) to raise the performance of the company's product lines.
- Employee Training: Educate and train employees on process and changes, certifications, and compliancy.
- Vendor Interaction: Interact with vendors to identify opportunities to improve quality and establish feedback with manufacturing and development personnel.
- Equipment Calibration: Oversee calibration and testing of equipment's.
- Quality Control Management: Manage quality control personnel on a day-to-day basis.
- Supplier Quality Requirements: Review supplier's purchase orders and establish supplier quality requirements.
- Quality Audits: Participate in internal and external quality audits.
- Customer and Supplier Interface: Interface with supplier and customer quality representatives concerning problems with quality control and ensure that effective corrective action is implemented.
- Manufacturing and Quality Management Experience: Minimum ten (10) years of manufacturing and quality management experience in Electronic Contract manufacturing.
- Electronics Knowledge: Knowledge of electronics, PCBA, and wire harness manufacturing is required.
- Lean Manufacturing: Lean manufacturing experience.
- Organizational and Analytical Skills: Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
- Scheduling and Organizational Skills: Proven track record of scheduling and organizational skills in order to complete assigned functions.
- Computer Systems and Software: Proficient with computer systems, ERP software, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Ability to interact effectively with all levels of internal and external organization.
- ISO9001/AS9100 QA Systems: Experience in ISO9001/AS9100 QA systems implementation and management as a QA manager in a medium-sized Electronics Manufacturing environment.
- ESD Procedures: Proficient knowledge of ESD procedures.
- English Language: Fluent domain of the English language: ability to read, write, and speak English well.
- Job Stress and Interpersonal Skills: Ability to handle job stress and interact effectively with others in the workplace.
