Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide professional nursing care within the intraoperative areas
  • Anticipate physician needs and maintain preference cards
  • Train new employees and ensure a smooth onboarding process
  • Liaise with Supply Chain Management, Environmental Services, and Central Sterile Processing to ensure adequate supplies
  • Scrubs/Circulates as needed and floats as required
  • Liaise with Physicians/Surgeons to understand their preferences and needs

Requirements:

  • Current RN license in the state of Arizona or compact state
  • 3-5 years of operating room experience (5 years preferred)
  • Ability to operate in stressful situations and act with diplomacy
  • Learns physician preferences and applies knowledge to the working environment
