Job Overview

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the prioritization and organization of groups, enhancing internal controls and maintaining deliverables.

  • Engage with vendors specializing in engineering processes and oversee the management of purchase requisitions.
  • Facilitate productive discussions among internal departments to promote process enhancements.
  • Conduct root cause analysis in collaboration with engineering and production/quality teams.
  • Proficient in interpreting technical drawings, dimensioning, and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
  • Utilize CAD software to create 2D drawings and 3D models, with experience in Autodesk Fusion 360, AutoCAD, or similar tools.
  • Provide production support across equipment, tooling, processes, failures, and testing.
  • Review Requests for Quotation (RFQ) and assist in the estimating process, gaining a comprehensive understanding of all operational processes.
  • Develop and manage routers and Bills of Materials (BOMs) in GSS for direct processes.
  • Design and issue process layouts, occasionally collaborating with clients.
  • Create and 3D print fixtures to support metallizing, plating, and testing operations.
  • Generate 2D drawings in AutoCAD for internal fixtures, racks, customer components, vendor RFQs, etc.
  • Collaborate with the business development team to support New Product Introductions (NPI) from development to production.
  • Oversee continuous improvement initiatives and address customer concerns, fostering innovation.
  • Establish and maintain in-process work instructions for new process development.
  • Provide direct support to the quality assurance team in X-Ray Fluorescence (XRF) and complex Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) operations.
  • Conduct root cause and failure analysis on incoming, in-process, and final stages of the service cycle.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials/Chemistry, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Preferred background in materials engineering or material science.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
Compensation:
The base salary range for this full-time position is $89,600 - $152,300. Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location, with individual pay influenced by work location and various job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, tenure, and relevant education or training. The pay scale is subject to change based on business needs.
