Key Responsibilities

Your Role: The Regional Construction Services Manager (RCSM) will spearhead the development of a strategic approach to expand and sustain a profitable construction services division. This role will involve a blend of business development and operational oversight.

Primary Duties Include:
  • Overseeing the creation and upkeep of marketing materials.
  • Acting as the primary regional liaison for the construction services division.
  • Engaging in regional and national industry events pertinent to construction services.
  • Contributing to local strategic planning sessions directly linked to construction services.
  • Assisting in establishing sales objectives for the construction services division and prioritizing project pursuits.
  • Participating in Capture Teams and contributing to project reviews.
  • Supporting the operational aspects of the construction services division, including resource management and project assignment databases.
  • Defining operational parameters for the construction services division.
  • Providing leadership in quality assurance and quality control for projects.
  • Collaborating with the Corporate Safety Director to implement safety policies.
  • Supervising and evaluating the performance of direct reports.
Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, preferably in Construction Management or Project Management.
  • A minimum of 12 years of progressive experience in the field, complemented by relevant technical training.
  • Proficiency in interpreting and analyzing documents such as safety regulations, operational instructions, and technical procedures.
  • Strong project management skills, including coordination, communication, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Exceptional client service skills, with a commitment to meeting client needs and maintaining relationships.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present information clearly.
  • Experience in team management, fostering skill development, and encouraging independent work.
  • A focus on quality management and continuous improvement.
  • Financial acumen, with an understanding of budget management and cost-saving strategies.
  • Ability to work with mathematical concepts and apply them to practical situations.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Word and internet software.
