Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Trade Compliance Specialist to join our team at FNA Group. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements and associated tariffs for imported products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide compliance guidance and support to mitigate risks and costs for all aspects of imports, including product classification, country of origin determination, trade agreements, marking, labeling, and transportation requirements.
  • Maintain accuracy and completeness of product-related import data in all systems.
  • Perform audits and assess internal procedures and systems to maintain status in the CTPAT Trade Compliance program.
  • Support Import Operations and all CBP as well as PGA transactions.
  • Stay up-to-date on all U.S. Customs and other government agency compliance changes in regulations.
  • Maintain and develop compliance tracking tools and documented procedures.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience with customs house broker and/or importer, preferably with experience in both.
  • Strong working knowledge of HTSUS, CFRs, CBP directives, and bulletins.
  • Understanding of the import process from point of origin, shipping, entry, and post-entry processes and procedures.
  • Proficiency in utilizing spreadsheets to analyze large data sets.
  • Effective communication, verbal and written.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in International Relations, International Business, or other related studies.
  • Customs broker license.
