Healthcare Standards Associate Director

With over 110,000 emergency room visits and 500,000 outpatient visits annually, we provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient care to the community.
Job Summary:We are seeking an experienced Associate Director of Health Care Standards to join our team. In this role, you will serve as a liaison between the Environment of Care programs and Patient Safety and Patient Care Services to facilitate activities in best achieving care delivery and patient experience.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement action plans and related policies and procedures to support care delivery and patient experience.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary efforts with Environment of Care and enhance communication among stakeholders in support of patient care services.
- Participate in performance improvement activities, collect data, identify and evaluate issues or gaps, and work with responsible parties to resolve these issues.
- Manage, document, and track related issues or events; conduct data analysis and provide reports as requested.
- Develop and track performance indicators and report to the EOC committee at least quarterly.
- Participate in safety initiatives such as WPVPP, SPH program, Needlestick Prevention Taskforce, etc.
- Attend committee meetings related to care delivery and patient experience.
- Participate in other departmental activities and carry out other duties as directed.
- A Baccalaureate Degree from an accredited college or university in Health Administration, Public Administration, or approved related program.
- Six years of full-time, paid experience in hospital administration with emphasis on development and evaluation of healthcare delivery services.
- A Master's Degree from an accredited college or university in Hospital or Health Administration, Health Care Planning, Public Health, Administrative Medicine, Business Administration, Public Administration, or approved related program.
- Five years of full-time, paid experience as indicated in (2).
- A satisfactory equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
