NYC Health + Hospitals/North Central Bronx (NCB) is a member facility of the New York City Health + Hospitals system, one of eleven acute care facilities within the City of New York.
A 215-bed community hospital, NCBH specializes in women's and children's services. It also provides Behavioral Health acute and ambulatory care. Its busy outpatient department has led the way in community-based care delivered in a compassionate and culturally-appropriate manner. Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement Planetree/Person-centered initiatives to improve the quality of care and transform the patient experience.
- Partner with all key stakeholders from executive leadership to front-line staff and patients/residents to spearhead improvement effort initiatives within the organization.
- Utilize evidence-based approaches to drive improvement in the patient experience by embedding compassionate person-centered healthcare techniques.
Requirements:
- A Baccalaureate Degree from an accredited college or university in Health Administration, Public Administration or approved related program.
- Six years of full-time, paid experience of progressively responsible level in hospital administration with particular emphasis on development and evaluation of health care delivery services.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Quality and performance improvement tools and methodologies (e.g. lean management, six sigma, PDSA cycles).
- Patient advocacy/customer service.
- Proficiency in usage of Microsoft Office applications - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio.
