Pediatric Intensive Care Nurse Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Intensive Care Nurse Coordinator to join our team at Medical City Dallas. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and compassionate nurse to provide high-quality patient care and coordination in our pediatric intensive care unit.
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring efficient throughput and high-quality patient-centered care, participating in ongoing assessments of quality patient care services, and collaborating with subject matter experts to create an environment of teamwork that supports improved outcomes and service.
Responsibilities- Assist with admission and discharge processes to ensure seamless transitions and optimal patient care.
- Participate in ongoing quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient satisfaction and clinical outcomes.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans that meet individual needs.
- Provide recommendations related to interviewing, selecting, and training new staff members.
- Support proper inventory control and assist with managing supplies and equipment.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Bachelor's degree in nursing required.
- Current RN licensure in Texas or compact license required.
- PALS certification required.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required.
- At least one year of applicable experience as a registered nurse.
- Aphron chemotherapy provider or ONS chemotherapy biotherapy certificate provider within six months of employment start date.
