A DAY IN THE ROLE

The Visual Communication Specialist will be responsible for producing design content for a variety of dynamic restaurant brands within the Savory creative team. This position entails executing design projects that require a high degree of visibility, teamwork, and constructive feedback. You will collaborate with a dedicated team to manage tasks and deadlines, ensuring timely and consistent delivery of projects. This role involves working closely with each brand under the Savory Restaurant Fund and the portfolio support team. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented and capable of adapting to feedback while demonstrating a commitment to continuous learning and skill enhancement.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Currently enrolled in a design or related field at a college or university.
  • Proficient in computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Illustrator, Photoshop, and XD (knowledge of Premiere and InDesign is a plus but not required).

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Create and maintain digital design assets as assigned, encompassing branding, marketing, instructional, and internal materials.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of brand identities and ensure consistency in brand voice throughout all produced materials.
  • Manage project timelines while maintaining open lines of communication.
  • Continuously adapt and enhance design skills.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure projects align with brand integrity and adhere to established scopes and plans.
  • Work with multiple reviewers to achieve consensus on design elements.
  • Assist with additional tasks as required.
