Bartender Position at Cece's Roland Park

Cece's Roland Park, a renowned culinary destination, is seeking a skilled Bartender to join our team. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, crafting innovative cocktails, and maintaining a clean and organized bar area.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive experience for all guests.
  • Mix and serve a variety of cocktails, beers, and wines, adhering to drink recipes and presentation standards.
  • Take beverage orders from serving staff or guests, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
  • Communicate effectively with co-workers and guests, maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor.
  • Complete all side work as assigned, ensuring a clean and organized bar area.
  • Be well-versed in our products, guiding guests in their beverage choices and promoting food and beverage items.
  • Check guests' identification to ensure compliance with minimum age requirements.
  • Promote current promotions to guests, ensuring they are aware of our offerings.
  • Accurately record and account for all items ordered, securing payment from guests.
  • Accurately account for all sales and receipts, recording tips as outlined in company policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • At least 1-2 years of experience in bartending at high-volume bars and/or nightclubs.
  • Knowledge of liquor brands, beer, wine, champagne, non-alcoholic beverages, designated glassware, preparation methods, and garnishments.
  • Formal bartending training preferred.
  • Must meet state legal age requirements.
  • Must speak fluent English, with other languages preferred.
  • Communication skills are essential for interacting with guests, cooks, wait staff, and supervisors.
  • Alcohol awareness certification and/or food service permit or valid health/food handler card as required by local or state government agency.
  • Reading and writing abilities are utilized frequently for taking orders, completing paperwork, etc.
  • Mathematical skills, including basic math, are used frequently.
  • May be required to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays.
