We are currently seeking a Full-time Veterinary Technician Assistant (30+ hours) to contribute to our operations. Our practice operates Monday through Friday from 8am to 4pm. The ideal candidate will be someone who is hardworking and dedicated to providing outstanding customer service. Additional qualifications include:
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team
- Motivated to learn and grow independently
- Thrives in a dynamic and fast-paced setting
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Capable of managing multiple tasks with a positive attitude
- Assist in exam rooms as required, including gathering patient histories
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of exam rooms
- Ensure the upkeep of the office, kennels, and surgical suite (including preparation for surgeries)
- Provide animal restraint as needed
- Handle and package sterilized surgical instruments
- Communicate with clients regarding medication and discharge instructions
- Be cross-trained in front office responsibilities, including answering phones, refilling medications, and managing client check-ins/outs
