Job Summary:

Soliant is seeking a skilled Sign Language Interpreter to provide remote interpretation services for a virtual school in South Carolina. As a Sign Language Interpreter, you will work with students and educators to facilitate communication and ensure equal access to education.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality interpretation services for students and educators in a virtual setting
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and staff to ensure seamless communication
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with students and families
  • Stay up-to-date with curriculum and educational materials to provide accurate interpretation
  • Meet the requirements for the Educational Interpreter Certification

Requirements:

  • 3.5 EIPA or higher
  • Eligibility for GAPSC Educational Interpreter Certification
  • Strong work ethic, growth mindset, and positive attitude
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
