Patient Care Technician

We are seeking a skilled Patient Care Technician to join our team at RWJBarnabas Health. As a Patient Care Technician, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support to our patients and families.
Job Summary:The Patient Care Technician will work under the direct supervision of a professional nurse to provide patient care and support. This includes gathering information and making observations regarding the patient's condition, assisting with vital signs, and performing other tasks as assigned.
Responsibilities:- Provide patient care and support under the direct supervision of a professional nurse
- Gather information and make observations regarding the patient's condition
- Assist with vital signs, such as temperature, pulse, and blood pressure
- Perform other tasks as assigned by the nurse or other healthcare professionals
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- BLS Certification through American Heart Association
- Enrolled in a Nursing Program, current EMT certification, Medical Assistant Certified, Phlebotomist Certified, EKG tech or equivalent
- Competitive hourly rate: $21.00 to $27.00
