Primary Responsibilities:

The Senior Risk Advisor will provide professional-level counsel and support to clients and colleagues. Key responsibilities include:
  • Engaging with clients to comprehend their needs and objectives
  • Creating tailored solutions and advising clients on best practices in risk identification, risk reduction, safety management strategies, and return-to-work processes.
  • Executing programs utilizing widely accepted project management and consulting methodologies
  • Designing and delivering management and employee training programs
  • Conducting loss analysis and trend assessments to pinpoint client focus areas
  • Performing audits and assessments at client locations
  • Building and managing relationships with insurance carriers and vendor partners
  • Overseeing insurance carrier activities on behalf of clients
  • Supporting national and regional service objectives
  • Creating client-facing consulting materials such as bulletins, training resources, stewardship reports, loss analyses, safety programs, and policies
  • Acting as a liaison between regional risk services leadership and office leadership
  • Collaborating with fellow regional and national consultants
Required Experience

Key Requirements:

Ideally, a minimum of 5 years' experience as a safety/risk/loss control consultant within insurance brokerage or carrier environments, or in a role primarily focused on safety and health.
  • Associates or Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Safety or a related field
  • Completion of ARM and CSP or similar professional certifications is preferred
  • Strong understanding of OSHA and DOT regulations is advantageous
  • Experience in evaluating property risk is beneficial
  • Knowledge of claims management processes and workers' compensation
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • High level of self-motivation and discipline
  • Willingness to travel and work beyond standard hours as required
