Job Title: Program Controls Specialist

Cordoba Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Program Controls Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Education and Facilities sector, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient management of project resources, data accuracy, and the implementation of best practices in project controls.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in cost control, budget control, data management, reporting, and project control system responsibilities.
  • Identify best practices and coordinate the development and implementation of project controls tools and procedures.
  • Interface with Senior Program Controls Specialist and managers to support decision-making.
  • Perform hands-on, detailed analysis and validation of data to ensure accuracy and reasonableness.
  • Identify and recommend policy changes to improve the effectiveness of the organization and delivery of projects.
  • Organize program and project level data to enable timely and accurate reports.
  • Develop metrics and reports to provide accurate and timely information to management and stakeholders.
  • Develop new program and project control processes and procedures related to budgets, estimates, schedules, and roll-up of program information.
  • Provide documentation support for program controls processes, policies, and procedures.
  • Provide support for internal and external audits.
  • Review proposed project budget and scope changes for proper justification and documentation.
  • Troubleshoot project-specific budget, scope, schedule, funding, or documentation issues working with other divisions, branches, or departments.
Qualifications:
  • Required Experience: Six years of full-time paid professional experience in Project Controls work, including planning, budgeting, estimating, forecasting, scheduling, cost control, schedule control, and project reporting.
  • Three years of the above experience as a Program or Project Controls Specialist in a government agency or infrastructure engineering and construction projects, using state-of-the-art productivity and Project Control tools.
  • Required Education: Graduation from a recognized college or university with a bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or Information Technology, Finance/Accounting, or Business Administration.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required.
