About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team at Novant Health. As a key member of our operating room team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and effective conduct of invasive surgical procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Assist surgeons and registered nurses in the operating room, maintaining a safe and sterile environment.
  • Prepare and maintain equipment and supplies, ensuring they are functioning properly and available for use.
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure seamless execution of procedures, prioritizing patient safety and satisfaction.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest techniques and technologies.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; graduate of an accredited School of Surgical Technology program or Military Training Equivalent preferred.
  • Previous Surgical Technologist experience preferred; current certification a plus.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and responsibilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on providing exceptional patient care.
