About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team at Novant Health. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and effective conduct of invasive surgical procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate the safe and effective conduct of invasive surgical procedures
  • Ensure the operating room environment is safe and equipment functions properly
  • Implement sterile and aseptic technique to minimize the risk of infection
  • Collaborate with surgeons and registered nurses to ensure seamless execution of procedures
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients, families, and healthcare teams
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Surgical Technology program or Military Training Equivalent
  • Current Surgical Tech Certification (preferred)
  • Ability to successfully complete generic and department-specific skill validation and competency testing
