Billing Assistant Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Billing Assistant to join our team at PeopleShare. As a Billing Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our customers receive top-notch service by streamlining our billing processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sorting through driver envelopes for pertinent paperwork related to billing.
  • Identifying, applying, and notifying customer accessorial fees via email, phone, or website.
  • Matching and verifying receipts.
  • Assisting the billing department in a variety of functions.
Requirements:
  • Must have reliable transportation to the Aberdeen area.
  • Microsoft Email and Folder management – able to create folders, sort, and search emails for information.
  • Scanning paperwork and data entry skills required.
  • Ability to learn and work in our billing software and multiple customer-based programs.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy is a must
