Key Responsibilities

  • Constructing, wiring, and labeling electrical panels or automation control systems
  • Interpreting engineering drawings, bills of materials, and automation specifications while performing tasks with minimal oversight
  • Executing system start-up procedures with minimal failures
  • Assisting in machine assembly and the installation of robotic systems
  • Documenting all services and providing progress updates to management
  • Ensuring all tools and equipment are maintained in optimal condition
  • Keeping a tidy and organized workspace
  • Working efficiently without sacrificing quality to reduce downtime


Work Environment

  • Most tasks are carried out in the Automation Motion facility.
  • Travel may be required for system installations and start-ups at client locations, including overnight stays.


Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
  • Vocational training, completed apprenticeship, or equivalent experience is preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as an Industrial Electrician or in Automation Controls Electrical technology
  • Familiarity with conveyors, automation machinery, robotics, or servo-driven systems is advantageous
  • Proficient in reading wiring diagrams, panel schematics, and technical documentation.
  • Experience in creating, assembling, and installing wire harnesses
  • Ability to build and wire electrical control panels
  • Competent in using electrical tools, hand tools, and power tools
  • Strong understanding of code requirements
  • Commitment to adhering to all safety regulations and company policies
  • Physical capability to perform tasks in challenging environments
