Key Responsibilities- Conduct health screenings and assessments to identify potential health issues and provide recommendations for intervention.
- Develop and implement health education programs to promote healthy behaviors and lifestyles among students.
- Collaborate with school staff to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with special health needs.
- Provide first aid and emergency care to students and staff as needed.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date health records for all students.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures for health services, including communicable disease control and prevention.
- Participate in professional development activities to stay current on best practices in school nursing and health education.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of New Hampshire.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a school nursing or health education setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, staff, and parents.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
