We are seeking a skilled Residential Program Assistant to join our team at Delta-T Group Inc.
Job Summary
The successful candidate will provide support to residents in a residential program, ensuring their daily needs are met and a safe and respectful environment is maintained.
Key Responsibilities
- Assure daily, weekly, and monthly schedules of chores are completed by residents in a satisfactory and timely manner.
- Ensure bathrooms have sufficient personal supplies on a daily basis.
- Respond to emergencies and maintain the safety of the shelter.
- Assume responsibility for observing when maintenance supplies need re-ordering and inform the Sr. Shift Supervisor accordingly.
- Ensure a peaceful and respectful atmosphere throughout the program.
- Complete Resident behavior/incident reports when necessary.
Requirements
- Minimum of a High School Diploma or its equivalent.
- Background check.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Minimum of six (6) months in the human service or customer service field.
- Experience with homeless population.
