About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineer to join our team at Salt River Project. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for performing engineering design work and engineering studies, including drafting in MicroStation, applying SRP standards, and conducting civil calculations and structural analysis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform engineering design work and engineering studies, including drafting in MicroStation and applying SRP standards.
  • Conduct civil calculations and structural analysis, including water retention and grading.
  • Prepare specifications and evaluate bids, supporting the RFP process and serving as a subject matter expert during the bid process.
  • Administer and review work performed by consultants and others, preparing and/or conducting written and oral reports and presentations.
  • Perform field engineering work as needed, traveling within the local service territory or to remote sites for company business needs.
Requirements
  • Five (5) years full-time experience actively engaged in engineering practice, with demonstrated capability to perform advanced and more difficult work.
  • Completion of a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from an ABET-accredited curriculum, an International Engineering Alliance (IEA) recognized institution, ABET Mutual Recognition Agreement (MRA), or any state or internationally recognized PE registration.
  • Must possess the appropriate valid Arizona driver's license.
