Job Opportunity: Cardiologist (MD/DO)

Matrix Providers is seeking a skilled Cardiologist (MD/DO) to conduct one-time, non-treatment Veteran Disability Exams. As a key member of our team, you will review pertinent medical history documentation and provide veterans with compensation and pension exams.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough medical exams and capture responses through web-based examination forms
  • Complete documentation electronically and send to the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs for disability award determinations
  • Standard exams include musculoskeletal, cardio, and respiratory assessments
  • Ancillaries such as X-rays, labs, EKGs, PFTs, and ABIs may be ordered and conducted on location or nearby
Requirements:
  • Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) with experience in general medicine for all body systems
  • Certified or Board Eligible in Hematology
  • Active and valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Primary care experience required
  • Hold and maintain an active and unrestricted license in the specialty field of MD or DO
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good interpersonal skills and flexibility
  • Basic computer skills
  • Full vaccination per CDC and state guidelines
