Invasive Cardiovascular Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiac Cath Lab Invasive Specialist to join our team at Methodist Hospital Northeast. As a key member of our cardiovascular team, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our hospital.
Key Responsibilities- Assist cardiologists and electrophysiologists with cardiac catheterization procedures, ensuring accurate and efficient data collection and equipment setup.
- Identify cardiac structures, coronary vasculature, and associated disease processes, utilizing anatomical and physiological knowledge to inform patient care.
- Practice radiation safety and adhere to ALARA principles to minimize patient exposure.
- Accurately report ejection fraction and other hemodynamic pressure measurements, utilizing left ventricular analysis programs.
- Ensure proper archiving of angiographic and procedural data for long-term storage.
- Verify the presence of all procedure information in both hard copy and computerized formats.
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- One year of full-time invasive cardiovascular technology experience or an associate degree in a related field.
- Graduate of an accredited program in invasive cardiovascular technology or a non-programmatically accredited program with a minimum of one year of specialty training and 800 clinical hours.
- ARRT certification or one of the following certifications: RCIS, RCES, or CCI.
