Job Summary

As a Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer, you will be responsible for performing high-quality echocardiograms and other non-invasive cardiac imaging procedures to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients with cardiovascular diseases.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform echocardiograms and other non-invasive cardiac imaging procedures to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients with cardiovascular diseases.
  • Operate and maintain cardiac imaging equipment, including echocardiography machines and ultrasound devices.
  • Develop and implement protocols for the performance of echocardiograms and other non-invasive cardiac imaging procedures.
  • Collaborate with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely diagnosis and treatment of patients.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure high-quality patient care and optimal use of resources.
Requirements
  • Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).
  • Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS).
  • Associate's degree or higher in a related field, such as diagnostic medical sonography or cardiovascular technology.
  • At least one year of experience in cardiac sonography or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
