Job Summary:

We are looking for a seasoned professional with a strong background in medical, grocery, retail T.I.'s, and fast food work to oversee field operations and ensure the successful completion of projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing multiple trades, coordinating with subcontractors, and maintaining high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Schedule and Coordinate: Manage the scheduling of subcontractors, consultants, and vendors to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Quality Control: Perform quality control duties and responsibilities to ensure that work meets Bergman KPRS standards.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with project teams regarding ASI's, RFI's, and Material Submittals.
  • Subcontractor Management: Ensure that subcontractors are fully executing and complying with their contracted scope of work.
  • Inspections and Compliance: Coordinate required inspections with local jurisdictions and identify subcontractor non-compliance with safety, health, and environmental quality standards.
  • Conflict Resolution: Identify conflicts in construction progress and communicate them to project teams for resolution.
  • Logistics and Organization: Maintain daily logs of activities on the jobsite and ensure that the job site is always kept in a clean and organized manner.
  • Punch List and Completion: Perform job progress and completion punch list identification and completion.
  • Budgeting and Bidding: Assist in budgeting, bidding, and award of subcontracts.
  • Permits and Approvals: Assist in obtaining permits or approval of revisions.
  • Material Submittals: Gather project material submittals and maintain records of approvals at the job-site.
  • Scope Identification: Identify areas of work that are outside of subcontracted scope.
  • Deficient Work Resolution: Identify deficient work and provide resolution.
  • Teamwork and Professionalism: Demonstrate strong teamwork and professionalism skills, including the ability to balance team and individual responsibilities, exhibit objectivity and openness to others' views, and provide and welcome feedback.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of STRONG verifiable experience with thorough knowledge of various trades.
  • Hands-on Experience: Must have hands-on building experience on site as a Superintendent.
  • Blueprint Reading: Ability to read Blueprints.
  • Document Interpretation: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to write routine reports and correspondence, communicate using various tools, and speak clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations.
  • Organizational Skills: Solid organizational skills, including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.
  • Technical Skills: Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Outlook, and ProCore.
  • Appearance: Strong, clean professional appearance.
