Job Overview:

As an Electrical Superintendent at Skanska, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe, timely, and profitable execution of electrical and instrument work. You will directly supervise field labor forces and Assistant Superintendents, while planning, directing, and guiding the business goals, plans, and processes for the electrical scope of work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise field labor forces and Assistant Superintendents to ensure safe and efficient work execution.
  • Develop and implement plans, schedules, and budgets for electrical and instrument work.
  • Coordinate with architectural trades and subcontractors to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, including safety incidents, quality control, and project metrics.
  • Collaborate with project teams to develop and implement safety protocols, quality control measures, and environmental sustainability initiatives.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in electrical trade-specific knowledge and MEP construction management.
  • Proven track record of managing schedules, subcontractors, and coordinating with architectural trades.
  • 5+ years of experience working with contracts, exhibits, and detailed planning.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or similar field, or 8 years of equivalent experience.
