In this role, you will be tasked with the maintenance, repair, and installation of boilers in diverse environments. A solid understanding of boiler construction, systems, and safety regulations is essential. Your background in both commercial and residential boiler systems will be crucial for your success in this position.

We are looking for a self-driven individual with exceptional problem-solving abilities who can work independently. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented and possess a strong customer service mindset.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform installation, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of commercial boiler and HVAC systems up to 1000HP.

• Diagnose and repair commercial boiler systems, including oil-fired and gas-fired boilers along with their control systems.

• Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of combustion settings for both oil and gas boilers.

• Ensure the safe and efficient operation of boiler systems.

• Conduct preventive maintenance on various types and brands of boilers and burners, including:
- Healthcare, hospitality, higher education, and manufacturing sectors
- Hydronic, domestic hot water, and steam systems
- High and low-pressure steam systems, DA and feedwater tanks, and pumping systems
- Open and close boilers for inspections
- Clean boiler tubes and check all safety mechanisms
- Start-up and set combustion parameters
- Log and record temperatures, amps, and voltage on boiler systems.

• Utilize tablet-based service ticket software for operational efficiency.

• Be available for overtime as necessary and participate in an on-call rotation.

Qualifications

• Valid Journeyman license

• Minimum of 3 years of experience with commercial boilers

• Experience in commercial and industrial gas/oil heating services

• Background in commercial and/or industrial HVAC replacements

• Preferred experience in healthcare facilities

• Familiarity with control systems and wiring, including parallel positioning

• Strong knowledge of safety protocols and regulations

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Professional demeanor, ethical standards, and a collaborative spirit

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
