As an essential member of our organization, you will be instrumental in managing front-office operations crucial for optimizing the effectiveness of the medical practice, clinic, and/or department.

The responsibilities of the Healthcare Administrative Coordinator include, but are not limited to:

  • How You Will Contribute to Healthcare Excellence:
  • Welcome, assess, and assist patients and visitors.
  • Handle correspondence, faxes, and various documents.
  • Oversee a multi-line telephone system/switchboard.
  • Coordinate scheduling, registration, and patient check-in/out processes.
  • Maintain patient medical records.
  • Conduct data management and spreadsheet operations.
  • Generate and oversee reports.
  • Execute charge entry tasks.
  • Process billing documents and investigate and resolve discrepancies.
  • Collect co-payments, deductibles, and other self-pay amounts at the time of service.
  • Manage cash box and receipt documentation.
Qualifications We Seek:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least two years of experience in a medical office or physician practice (preferred)
  • Familiarity with data processing and/or multi-line telephone systems (preferred)
  • Experience with patient registration and/or medical insurance (preferred)
  • Understanding of office protocols and equipment
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaborative skills
  • Proficiency in automated computer systems
  • Outstanding organizational and time management abilities
