Position Overview:
This role is a permanent, full-time position within the Housekeeping department, focusing on a variety of custodial responsibilities. The position requires flexibility in working hours, including potential evening and weekend shifts.

Key Responsibilities:
The Custodial Worker will perform essential tasks such as:
1. Operating cleaning equipment including scrubbers and buffers.
2. Maintaining cleanliness in restrooms, windows, walls, floors, and furniture.
3. Managing waste disposal and recycling efforts.
4. Conducting vacuuming and wet mopping tasks.
5. Ensuring safe and accessible building entrances.
6. Assisting with snow removal and outdoor maintenance.
7. Moving furniture and equipment as necessary.
8. Completing additional custodial duties as assigned.

Work Environment:
This position is classified as essential, requiring attendance during emergencies or university closures. Candidates should be prepared to work independently and collaboratively with others.

Qualifications:

Preferred Skills:

Physical Requirements:
The role necessitates the ability to lift a minimum of 35 pounds and engage in extensive physical activity, including walking, bending, and climbing. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) must be worn as required.

Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is $31,374.00, accompanied by a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, and retirement plans.
