We are seeking a skilled Veterinary Surgical Technician to join our team at Noah's Ark Veterinary & Boarding Resort. As a key member of our veterinary team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and contributing to a positive and collaborative work environment.
Key Responsibilities- Assist veterinarians during surgical procedures by preparing surgical suites, equipment, and patients.
- Monitor anesthesia administration and patient vital signs before, during, and after surgery.
- Maintain a sterile environment and ensure proper sanitation of surgical instruments.
- Provide post-operative care and recovery for surgical patients.
- Assist in handling and restraining animals during examinations and procedures.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
- At least 2 years of experience monitoring anesthesia for veterinary patients.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- High level of computer proficiency.
