Entegris is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Co-op to join our team for a 6-month assignment. This role is an excellent opportunity for students to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and innovative environment.
Job Summary:The Mechanical Engineering Co-op will work on projects and assignments that have real business impact, giving our students an edge over their peers. The co-op will be responsible for evaluating engineering challenges, designing and developing parts and assemblies using SolidWorks, creating engineering drawings, and developing bills of materials.
Responsibilities:- Evaluate engineering challenges to seek out creative and innovative solutions
- Design and develop parts and assemblies using SolidWorks
- Create engineering drawings using SolidWorks
- Develop bills of materials for associated assemblies
- Student studying Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Experience in SolidWorks
- Familiarity with CFD/FEA or similar through coursework or relevant experience
- Excellent analytical skills
- Relevant design experience from other internships or school projects
- Ability to work well with team members and communicate effectively
