The Diagnostic Imaging Team Lead is responsible for the daily operations of radiographic procedures, fluoroscopy, and surgical radiography in the Diagnostic Imaging area at St. Claire Regional Medical Center.
Key Responsibilities- Assigns and coordinates staffing for surgery, radiology, and fluoroscopy.
- Manages breaks and lunch schedules, assessing staffing needs and adjusting levels according to workload.
- Coordinates transcription staff and reviews clinic films for quality.
- Optimizes patient flow and verifies billing information.
- Reviews and implements departmental policies and procedures.
- Maintains equipment and supplies, performs quality control, and implements continuous improvement initiatives.
- Manages education and training needs for staff and students.
- Coordinates student activities and assists with staff appraisals.
- Associate Degree in Radiologic Sciences or completion of an approved Radiologic Technology program.
- Three years of experience as a Radiology technologist. Extensive experience and/or additional education/training in diagnostic radiology, fluoroscopy, surgical radiography, and advanced modality experience preferred.
- Current registry with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, RT(R), and current radiation operator's certification (general license) issued by the Commonwealth of Kentucky required. CPR required within thirty days of hire. Additional registry/registry eligible with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist in Computed Tomography, RT(R)(T), preferred.
