About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in the PACU Recovery department at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. As a PACU Recovery Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring a smooth transition for patients from surgery to recovery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide specialized plan-of-care intervention to patients in the PACU Recovery department
  • Utilize your skills and expertise to shape exceptional patient journeys and leverage our cutting-edge technology to directly impact patient wellbeing
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care
  • Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
  • Monitor and manage patient vital signs, medication, and other medical interventions as needed

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A current state RN license or a current multistate compact license
  • An associate or bachelor's degree from an accredited nursing school
  • Department/Unit Summary: Monday – Friday position, with limited weekend requirements
  • Limited call – one night call every other week, and one weekend call rotating through entire department (usually works out to be every 10-12 weeks)
