Key Responsibilities- Operate and maintain wastewater treatment equipment and facilities to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Monitor and control treatment processes to optimize water quality and minimize environmental impact.
- Collect and analyze water samples to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning and repairing equipment, and performing minor repairs.
- Collaborate with other team members to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Biology, Chemistry, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in wastewater treatment operations or a related field.
- Valid Oregon driver's license and a safe driving record.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Master's degree in Environmental Science, Biology, Chemistry, or a related field.
- Experience with SCADA systems and laboratory equipment.
- Certification in wastewater treatment operations or a related field.
