Role Summary:
The primary function of the Loan Administration team is to oversee all activities related to loan management after closing. The Loan Administration Specialist will be tasked with processing all loan-related transactions within our servicing platform. This role requires adept coordination with various team members and departments to ensure timely and precise completion of tasks. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is essential, and familiarity with Salesforce is advantageous. Key responsibilities include:
- Collecting collateral from newly finalized loans
- Onboarding new loans into the system
- Entering and maintaining loan terms and escrow accounts
- Managing daily disbursements
- Tracking maturity default interest and entering relevant charges
- Recording payments for loans with interest reserves
- Processing monthly payments and generating statements
- Drafting modifications, extensions, and releases for loans
- Creating payoff statements while considering applicable fees and conditions
- Handling received payoffs
- Collaborating with the accounting team to resolve balance discrepancies
- Managing incoming mail related to loan servicing
- Responding to inquiries from title companies and clients
- Addressing customer service requests as necessary
- Performing additional duties as assigned

- Previous experience in loan administration is beneficial but not mandatory.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required.
- Experience with Salesforce is a plus.
- Background in real estate is advantageous but not essential.
