Certified Nursing Assistant 3

We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Nursing Assistant 3 to join our team at the University of Miami Hospital. As a Certified Nursing Assistant 3, you will provide advanced patient care activities under the supervision of a registered nurse. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting patients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and feeding, as well as collecting non-invasive body fluid specimens and gathering vital signs.
Key Responsibilities- Provide personal care to patients, including bathing, dressing, and feeding
- Collect non-invasive body fluid specimens and gather vital signs
- Assist patients with daily living activities, such as transferring from bed to chair and performing minor physical therapy routines
- Guide and assist lower-level certified nursing assistants
- Report patient conditions to assigned nurse to ensure professional assessment
- Measure and record food and liquid intake and output, and check and record vital signs
- Provide patient help with walking, exercising, and moving in and out of bed
- Perform minor physical therapy routines and turning in bed to prevent bed sores
- May collect urine samples, attach EKG leads, and remove catheters
- Assemble, monitor, and discontinue feeding of intravenous nutrition
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Certified Nursing Assistant license
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
