We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Nursing Assistant 3 to join our team at the University of Miami Hospital's Medical Oncology department. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient care and support to our patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities- Provide personal care to patients, including bathing, dressing, and feeding
- Assist patients with daily activities, such as ambulating, turning, and positioning
- Collect non-invasive body fluid specimens and gather vital signs
- Assemble, monitor, and discontinue intravenous feeding tubes
- Work closely with patients on activities of daily living, such as transferring from bed to chair and performing minor physical therapy routines
- Guide and assist lower-level certified nursing assistants
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Certified Nursing Assistant license
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
- Ability to work evenings, nights, and weekends as necessary
- Commitment to the University's core values
